Preliminary Study
& Condition Report

A preliminary study is conducted before a restoration campaign. It consists of a set of historical, technical, scientific and feasibility studies, which make it possible to establish the interest of a project, to set its objectives and orientations. The preliminary study includes a condition report, a diagnosis, a definition of objectives and recommendations as well as a financial evaluation of interventions.

To carry out a preliminary study, I intervene, depending on the case, alone or as part of a multidisciplinary team (restorers, professional photographer, analysis laboratory).

I also work with private clients (art insurers, art transporters, dealers, collectors) to carry out condition reports in the following cases:

• before/after transport
• purchase/sale of an artwork
• artwork loan
• acquisition to assess the health condition of an artwork.

Collection Maintenance

Dusting, maintenance during exhibitions to be able to intervene if needed or in emergencies, on-site condition reports for arrival and departure of artworks, health assessment of the collection, courier services and conservation recommendations.

All these services are offered for the maintenance and monitoring of your collection.
