Technical study
& condition report

A technical study is conducted prior to any conservation treatments. It consists of a set of historical, technical, scientific and feasibility studies, which make it possible to establish the interest of a project, to set its objectives and orientations. The technical study includes a condition report, a diagnosis, a definition of objectives and recommendations as well as a financial evaluation of interventions.

To carry out a technical study, I intervene, depending on the case, alone or as part of a multidisciplinary team (restorers, professional photographer, analysis laboratory).

I also work with private clients (art insurers, art transporters, dealers, collectors) to carry out condition reports in the following cases:

• before/after transport
• purchase/sale of an artwork
• artwork loan
• acquisition to assess the health condition of an artwork.

Collection management

Maintenance during exhibition, conservation assessment, risks analysis, conducting condition reports, documentation, installation, pest management, emergency response.
