Hello! I'm Amandine,
specialist in conservation-restoration of cultural heritage

I hold a Master's degree in conservation-restoration of cultural heritage from the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP), specialized in painting, and a Master 2 in preventive conservation of heritage from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

I work as an independent consultant for public institutions (museums, historic monuments, local governments) as well as private clients (individuals, foundations, art galleries, collectors, artists, dealers, insurance companies, auction houses) in France and abroad.

My professional experience in France and abroad allows me to provide museum-quality services and helps you understand the various aspects of restoration.

With the goal of establishing a long-term client relationship based on trust and excellence, I guarantee high-quality work with complete discretion.

My Background

I dedicated my professional career, from early on, to the promotion and commercialization of 20th and 21st century artworks, before moving towards the conservation and restoration of paintings and, more recently, into preventive conservation.

This rich and diverse curriculum trained me as much in easel painting restoration as in mural painting restoration, as well as in the study, diagnosis and monitoring of heritage collections of diverse typologies.

My professional experience at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington D.C. and in French museums allowed me to specialize particularly in the restoration of modern and contemporary paintings, to familiarize myself with cutting-edge techniques in the field (Hirox 3D digital microscope, digital radiography), and to better understand the conservation of high-value artworks.

Throughout my practice in the studio and on site, I developed an interest in a more global approach to the conservation of cultural heritage and in the issues at stake at the scale of a collection or a building. This led me to return to study and obtain a Master 2 in preventive conservation of heritage at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

With this dual qualification, I continuously seek new ways to improve my skills and knowledge, and regularly take part in training programs (conferences, seminars, workshops) to ensure the best possible handling of the projects entrusted to me.
